ECL euro.COURIER - Aluminiumfassade nach Passivhausstandard
Founded in the year 2000 the euro.COURIER logistics centre soon became a very successful medium-sized company with 70 employees and 90 vehicles ensuring a high quality delivery within 24-hours throughout Europe.
The new headquarters is located in Chemnitz, Germany. The architects from FURORIS X Art wanted to provide the company with a new, more comfortable and bigger establishment, which would differentiate euro.COURIER from its competitors. This is the reason why they decided to create curved premises. The flexibility of Reynobond Architecture aluminium composite panels facilitated the realisation of this uncommonly-shaped building.
The edifice is a combination of glass and Reynobond Architecture aluminium composite panels. The two colours gives the head office a very modern touch and creates contrast between the Anthracite Grey and the Traffic White paints. Moreover, the Traffic White reference is particularly matt with only 3% gloss, which is possible thanks to the special coating from Alcoa Architectural Products based on the DURAGLOSS 5000 paint system.
On the other hand, Reynobond Architecture aluminium composite panels were used as rear-ventilated facade, which respects the passive house standards and creates a healthy work environment.
