When he first obtained the project materials, the designer even hoped to inject the rhythmic characteristics of the Huangpu River’s precipitation and the spirit of the current in the design of the space. At the same time, he started from “power”, conceived and used the form and color to design. Juxtapose the minimalist spirit of the Western modern art to create a space of strength, tension and beauty, and toinspire people to long for a healthy lifestyle.

When you enter the fitness club, you can see the wavy back wall. Through 3D design and lighting, the lines of the muscles in human movements are revealed. The front with a strong contrast of colors creates urban modernity.

The irregular green wall of the elevator room illuminates the space and makes people in the city center feel calmer. It is the starting point to enter the gym or exit point to enter the crowded BFC, this space is not only a spatial transition, but also a point of emotional connection.

This is where the Roulette armchair by Eero Aarnio and the Adan Stool by Teresa Sapey are located, allowing athletes to take a break after their physical effort or to prepare to do so.

Between the third and fourth floors, there is a 180 ° infinity pool with river views and an excellent location between Shanghai’s “three great artifacts”: the International Finance Center, the Jinmao Towerand and Shanghai Global. The 25-meter glass pane from the floor to the ceiling blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, giving people a quiet space to guide a more intimate kind of emotions and experiences. In addition, the designer furniture by Spanish firm Vondom, such as the Faz armchair by Ramón Esteve and furniture set formed by the Wing Table and the Wing bar stools by A-Cero, offers its exclusive clients a comfortable enjoyment of the silence that seems to echo from the Huangpu River, which flows constantly through the window. It echoes the history of evolution.´

The red color has been chosen to awake the people’s senses and stimulate the athletes’ enthusiasm.
